Nimue Smit

Mi más reciente inspiración es Nimue Smit, una modelo holandesa de 21 años que empezó su carrera en el 2007. Su cara de muñeca, sus ojos levemente separados y su boca curvada la convierten en una pieza perfecta para mi colección de retratos de modelos.


My most recent inspiration is Nimue Smit, a 21 years old Dutch model, who started her career on 2007. Her doll face, her eyes slightly separated and her curvy mouth make her the perfect piece for my model portraits collection.

Este atuendo pertenece a la coleccion Primavera/Verano 2011 de la diseñadora italiana Daniela Gregis. Las prendas de esta diseñadora me parecen realmente fascinantes: telas desgastadas y arrugadas, que evocan una atmósfera romántica y nostálgica.


This outfit belongs to the Spring/Summer 2011 collection of italian fashion designer Daniela Gregis. The garments of this designer are really fascinating: worn-out and wrinkled fabrics that evoke a romantic and nostalgic atmosphere.

Esta serie de ilustraciones está inspirada en algunas de las prendas de la colección Primavera/Verano de REDValentino. Me gustó mucho como la tela floreada fue utilizada para crear distintas prendas, entre ellas un vestido, blusa, polerón, shorts, etc. Fue esta continuidad la que me inspiró a ilustrar varias de estas prendas, y decidí seguir un cierto formato para enfatizarla.
En el fondo de las ilustraciones se pueden leer algunos textos de las canciones de Emilie Simon, las cuales estaba escuchando mientras hacía los dibujos.
Comparto con ustedes una de mis canciones favoritas: Never Fall in Love.


This serie of illustrations is inspired on some outfits from REDValentino Spring/Summer 2012 collection. I really loved how the flower print was used to create different garments, among them a dress, shirt, hoodie, shorts, etc. It was this continuity the one that inspired me to illustrate many of this garments, and I decided to follow a certain format to emphasize this continuity.
On the background of the illustrations you can read some of the lyrics of Emilie Simon's songs, the ones I was listening while making the drawings.
I share with you one of my favorite songs: Never Fall in Love.
