I'm glad to share with you these two illustrations commissioned by jewelry designer Meryland Díaz. Meryland is from Lima, Peru, and she creates knitted jewels.
This illustration takes place in Barranco, a district of Lima, Peru, that is famous, among other things, for its colorful buildings.
Todos los accesorios ilustrados son creaciones originales de Meryland Díaz.
In this second illustration we can appreciate a sunflowers necklace through which we can see a calm sunset. This knitted necklace is inspired in "The Sunflowers" by Van Gogh and is part of Meryland's collection. The dress, also knitted, refers to the technique used by Meryland to create her jewels.

These are some of the beautiful jewels created by Meryland Díaz. What I love the most is the vivid color of the pieces, that together with the knitting technique, gives a very fresh and original aspect to her accessories.
