Tengo el agrado de compartir con ustedes dos ilustraciones que realicé para la diseñadora de joyas Meryland Díaz. Meryland es de Lima, Perú y realiza principalmente joyas tejidas.

I'm glad to share with you these two illustrations commissioned by jewelry designer Meryland Díaz. Meryland is from Lima, Peru, and she creates knitted jewels.

Esta ilustración tiene como escenario Barranco, un distrito de la provincia de Lima que se caracteriza, entre otras cosas, por sus coloridos edificios.

This illustration takes place in Barranco, a district of Lima, Peru, that is famous, among other things, for its colorful buildings.

En esta segunda ilustración podemos observar un collar de girasoles a través del cual se puede ver un tranquilo atardecer. Este collar tejido está inspirado en "Los girasoles" de Van Gogh y forma parte de la colección de Meryland. El vestido, también tejido, hace alusión a la técnica utilizada por Meryland para crear sus joyas.
Todos los accesorios ilustrados son creaciones originales de Meryland Díaz.

In this second illustration we can appreciate a sunflowers necklace through which we can see a calm sunset. This knitted necklace is inspired in "The Sunflowers" by Van Gogh and is part of Meryland's collection. The dress, also knitted, refers to the technique used by Meryland to create her jewels.
